not much really. it has helped slow down the pain but not completely. i would say its not the best fast-pain reliever out there. its great for headaches and menstrual pain.

I initially took this drug and there was no noticeable action and then I felt horrible for 3 - 4 and then much better. I couldn't sleep due to my sinus problems and was extremely stuffy. The drug does the job - just takes a while to do so!

With Bactrim (generic) I get immediate relief from my chronic prostatitis symptoms. However, during my last two bouts with this condition, I have also had my high blood pressure drop into the normal range. The first time, the drop was extreme so that I discontinued the high blood pressure medication for about 3 months before it returned. It works very well for me. I take it to treat my vitamin D deficiency. Last time I went to doctor, my deficiency had improved. It doesn't waste wonderful, but it works so I take it. I usually drink it with orange juice, instead of water, so that it takes the taste away.
