I was given the first 2 rounds of injections at the advice of my OB/Gyn after the birth of my son. My health insurance then lapsed, so I had to wait on the third. I take Ibuprofen OTC for headaches, body aches, cold/flu, joint pain, etc. I usually take 400-600 mg and it is wonderful because it helps with pain and inflammation with NO side effects. When I had my wisdom teeth pulled out I preferred taking 800 mg ibuprofen over tylenol, darvocet, hydrocodone, and percocet.
