I am blessed to find a medication that will control my colitis but do have issues with a few side effects. I have a real down time about 4-5 days after my injection. I get very withdrawn and somewhat depressed and to myself.I get very tired and just try to push through but some months are worse than others. I have also noticed my memory and focus seems to be getting worse. Other than that I am really happy with it.I know all medicines have side effects and I can deal with them to have a life.

I had Graves Disease about 8 years ago,took docs a year to sort it out, had all the heart meds too. Then it was sorted out. Since then i have had Hyperthroidism about three times since - it just wont go away. Back on Carbims again. On 5 mg three times a day now have been retested and its hardly reduced it so have to up the dose to 4 tabs daily - doc said two am,two pm. i enjoyed the effects of ritalin, however the effects of the drug started very quickly and ended abruptly. i had a lot of mood swings during this time as well and no appetite. i also gained weight while on this medication as when i took it i had no appetite, and when i was off of the medication I overcompensated.
