I suffer from Fibromyalgia and a variety of chronic joint and muscle pain. I cannot take anti-inflamatories because I take Coumadin (blood thinner). I was prescribed Percocet after major shoulder surgery and found it was the 'best' pain releif I'd ever gotten for my whole body. I am on a relatively low-dose for chronic pain and yes, I know this is physically addictive. However, quality of life is addictive as well!!!! My daughter got her first injection at age 20. Eleven days later she began having pelvic discomfort like a bladder infection. This and periodic anxiety continued for four months. I take medications for headache indiscriminately. No favorative. I take headache medication maybe 3 times a year. They are all the same to me. Now I use Ibuprofin.
