Azelastine Hydrochloride, also known as Astepro, has worked really well for me. I tried Omnaris before I tried Astepro. Even though I lean forward like the instructions say to do, I still get a very bad strange taste in my throat and tongue. I'm pretty sure that it is because it drains down into my throat, but the first time I tasted it, I had a hard time getting the taste off my tongue. after 3 A1c tests that were getting worse and taking more and more Lantus, I quit it totally because when I upped the dose my blood pressure went up as well. I had pain in both hands having gained 15 pounds as well. After one week of quitting, my weight went down 8 pounds and I no longer have pain in my hands. I will never take that stuff again. My sugars have been down significantly, staying between 90 and 100 in the mornings without it....

I started Loestrin 24 in May of 2010. In July I started having lower abdominal pain followed by upper right abdominal pain. After doing some research I found others had experienced gallbladder spasms. My doctor indicated that I was experiencing gallbladder spasms. I am very healthy and ended up having my appendix removed with no indication of infection b/c of the pain. Since discontinuing my medication three days ago, the symptoms are still there but have improved immensely.

I stopped taking this after the first injection(administered at Dr office) 5 hrs after injection, I developed sysytems of spinal menigitis. Severe fever, vertigo and was unable to lift my head or move without severe pain, dizziness and vomitting for 3 DAYS. I was told, flu like symptoms would occur, symtomps were beyond this. Am on with depakote for biploar hypo mania. Was on Geodon and too sedating, Thoughts of death. Tremors really bad treated with cogentin. then got blurred vision and urinary retention. Seroquel was excellent. Increased weight though. Not as seating as Geodon. Went to XR this past week less sedating less carb cravings. Still on both drugs and feel wonderful!

80 pound weight gain, developed type 2 diabetes in early 2000's and have it permanently. no one paid attemtion to my weight gain or blood sugar increase as i was taking this. the main individual giving this to me even acknowledged to me at the time that he knew it caused weight gain amd a bad craving for sweets but still prescribed it anyway until it was too late on the diabetes. i've since lost all of the 80 pounds i gained while Using Zyprexa, it tool me some time to do it.
