I am a clinical-neuropsychologist.I had a touch of arthritis but of late, I am having swelling and pain in my knees and the leg gets stiff. This was prescribed to me in USA but now that I am in India, I need more information before I consult a physician here. I have had imbalance for about 6 months now, the doctor referred me to a neurologist but there is a two month waiting list here, I couldn't walk without holding onto walls and furniture and very rarely could I go outside and I walk with a stick, but I also have hypermobility. was taken to hospital after 3 days and was told that I had pneumona. I was given an IV and they used Penicillin to treat it. I felt better after 5 minutes.
