Ugh. Within 2 months I had gained almost 10 pounds, felt bloated most of the time, experienced moderate menstrual cramps (I don't usually get them) and started getting migraines the first full day of my period. Just started my third 91 day pack. I plan to discontinue use as soon as I see my Doctor. I feel like my life has been flipped upside down since I started these pills. I have taken nuvigil for about a year now. I have not had a problem with hair loss. As for sleeping, I don't normally have a problem. I too am a teacher and have difficulty with my summer's lack of routine. I know the medicine doesn't help as much if I don't take it right away in the morning. Also, I have started using the alarm clock to have a more consistent wake-up time; this seems to help too.

I am luckily a very fast responder to Prozac. When we need to adjust the dosage, I notice a difference within a day or 2. Take it in the morning or it might keep you up at night!
