Switched to Quasense after having been on Yaz for three years. Never experienced any side effects with Yaz, but I was concerned with the increase in price under new insurance and my GYN was concerned with the recent lawsuits. The first day taking Quasense resulted in severe cramping, feeling constantly on the verge of vomiting, and intense body chills. This lasted for almost two days straight. Needless to say, I called my GYN after some research and will no longer be taking this awful drug.

Completely loved the convienience of the NuvaRing, seemed that every month the side effects got progressively worse, started out with a headache that lasted a week, then each month I would get a headache the day I would put a new ring in, eventually I ended up with severe diarrhea that I couldnt even eat and left me with horrible abdominal cramping. Although they tend to diminish after 6-12 months, the itching and hot flashes are a sure sign from your body that something is wrong. Concentrated fish oils and other remedies work better, and will not destroy your body.
