I have been taking 2 mg xanax for over ten years. I stop taking it every once in a while after reading negative effects . It helps me with my constipation. I do have a hard time when trying to get off of it. I experience nausea, and become quite ill for about 4 days. I do not know if I should stay on it or not . I would like to know if there is any long term effects on being on it for an extended length of time.

Macrobid relieved my symptoms for my UTI ie the burning when I uriniate and pelvic pain however I still had the infection. It only temporarily relieved symptoms and did not get rid of the infection.

No negative effects at all, only good for treating acne rosecea. Had suffered fom this condition without knowing and seeking medical advice for two years with horrendous breakouts of spots,blisters and patches of inflamed skin. Once started on this drug condition settled really quickly and cleared within six weeks. GP prescribed drug for a few months afterwards to ensure condition had settled. I had nausea and vomiting the first 2 months of taking it, but they completely went away after that. Other pills caused bleeding between my periods, but I had no spotting at all with Microgestin.
