How can I tell of I have side effects from Tobrex or just experiencing an eye allergy? Since I started using the generic version,tobramycin ophthalmic, I have developed some itching in my eye, but I also work in a congested shop floor with a lot of allergens and toxins, so I wasn't sure if these are drug side effects or not. The drug warning label is of little help.

Smaller dosage with the option to self medicate every second or third day provides a rythm I can cope with and live with and the benefits are great for me. I don't get the personality change I did when I tried other anti depressent and drugs for the fibromyalgia and feel much more balanced. This has lead me to go back to school full time! and plan for a good career I can choose my own hours with good pay and benefits.

My original dosing was only once a day, but around mid-afternoon I felt horrible and my symptoms were worse than ever. My psychiatrist switched me to one in the early morning and one in afternoon and, ever since, the change has been ridiculous. My finances are under control (because I can focus on taking care of bills as opposed to forgetting about them and then getting anxious), my work is a thousand times better and I am a lot more confident because my ADHD is being managed. I took Atenolol for years to treat cogenital chronic tachycardia (basically, my heart beats too fast). When I got pregnant, I was switched to Labetalol. Virtually no side-effects, which was a definate improvement over Atenolol. I have been taking it for 7 years now, and am quite pleased with it.
