It sucks! This drug did a great job helping my depression, but at a huge cost to my health. I've been suffering severe nausea, vomiting, super-sensitivity to smells and dizziness. I take gravol to stave off the nausea - but gravol makes me so tired! At the end of the day I was a prisoner in my own home because I refuse to drive if I'm dizzy & on gravol. I had taken Marax in the mid 70s and as a 16 year old "in charge" of her medication, I probably took more than prescribed and suffered severe anxiety attacks. Sometimes so debilitating, I wanted to jump out of my skin. Then I would crash and thought I was going to die. Hard to say how it would affect others. Took 18 months to control my anxiety. But it works, and keeps on working. Sadly I have lost passions for films, friends, girlfriends, and sports since taking Sertraline. It does work, but there is a price to pay
