I was pissed when my insurance company pretty much forced me to buy the generic (a 3 month supply of ortho lo is $115 vs.$10 for the generic). Being a student, I can no longer afford the name brand BC I trust! HOWEVER, since being on tri-sprintec lo, I have not had ANY side effects. It's just like being on Ortho tri cyclen lo - minus the cool click pack. It's only been one month so far, but, so far, so good. My advice: try it, it just may not be the end of the world! Vaginal thrush was very severe itchy and painful, and i used yogurt for a couple of days, the only relief i got was the cooling effect of the yogurt however it did not do anything for the thrush infection (it seemed to make it worse or not better at all) and therefore had to use gyno-daktarin instead.

I am currently expiriencing severe back problems and it's a dilemma. The M.D prescribed (Morphine Sulfate) which is used to treat agonizing pain. I was told to take it (bid), of course running the risk of possibly becoming addicted to the narcotic. I took it as prescribed by necessity and recommendation. Did control blood pressure--it was a sort of last resort effort from the doctor after more than a decade of blood pressure refusing to be under control with multiple, simultaneious drugs. But I had an utterly inappropriate manic ideation. I know it's supposed to remove epinephrine from the system; maybe I had a co-cortisol cascade.
