I suffered from general anxiety disorder, mild OCD, and occasional depression and went on Lexapro when I was 18. After about 2 weeks I started noticing improvement and after about 6 weeks I noticed the full effects. My anxiety caused me to have a lot of problems going to sleep and after starting lexapro those issues went away and I was able to sleep much better. THIS DRUG PERMANENTLY CASTRATED ME. I took 10 mg a day for 5 weeks and lost all sexual function. It has been a year after discontinuation and I have not regained my libido, arousal, desire.
