I drink a tea or homemade soda of prickly ash daily (we have tons of prickly ash trees in the woods), to help with symptoms from mild hypothyroidism. I skipped a few days last week, and could not figure out why I felt so cold all the time. Then, I realized that that's how I always used to feel, before I started taking the prickly ash. Since restarting the prickly ash, my feelings of coldness have normalized again.

I was on Junel for a 2 or 3 years. I absolutely loved it. I went through a year and a half of hit and misses with many different types of birth controls. Vaginal thrush was very severe itchy and painful, and i used yogurt for a couple of days, the only relief i got was the cooling effect of the yogurt however it did not do anything for the thrush infection (it seemed to make it worse or not better at all) and therefore had to use gyno-daktarin instead.

This is the best working drug I have ever taken for any condition. I went from waking up at all hours of the night chewing rolaids and tums continuously, having reflux so bad I almost choked to death several times, to my stomach feeling like I am 10 years old again. I only need to take one nexium on occasions, whenever I eat something that would normally kill my stomach. One pill's effects keep the heartburn and reflux away for 3 or 4 days! I am in your age range and I just started taking it today. The doc started me on 30mg. what was your starting dose and having there been any changes in dosages? Also, have you experienced and lack of libido?
