I was given the first 2 rounds of injections at the advice of my OB/Gyn after the birth of my son. My health insurance then lapsed, so I had to wait on the third. I am 28 years old, and just had my first abnormal pap ever after having these injections. Upon further testing, I was diagnosed with high risk HPV (not sure of the exact strain). Doctors seem to hand this stuff out like candy to kids. When my kid started with asthma we went alternative and got her off the drugs ASAP--I really regret getting hooked on Ventolin all those years ago. My daughter is fine now--no symptoms at all. Her doctor was really thrilled and really surprised. She was off meds in 3 months after being really bad, and with a family history...I was lucky he was supportive; most docs aren't.

Isotretinoin is a nightmare, if you are thinking of taking it DONT! 3 years after go off the drug my bones still creak every time i climb a step, my liver is still recovering and more recently I have been diagnosed with Hyperthyroidism.
