I have an injection once every 6 months I have no side effects ,I lift weights and work out 4 x a week and do a lot of juicing in my diet I have stage iv prostate cancer metastases to bone,I feel pretty healthy all things considered its been three years

I started out with 4 tabs a day but that was way too much. Doctor's PA told me to take 2 a day which was an improvement but side effects, although lessened, continued. I experienced restlessness, tongue sucking, mouth pursing, jaw clenching, rash on face, throat tightness with muscle spasm. I learned that these side effects over time can be life long. This medication generally makes me feel very tired, nauseated. I often feel very hot--perspire much more than ever. It is not taking care of the pain. I entered a pain management program with a phy, reccomendation for a neurostimulator for back pain. I wonder if my med was changed to make me think that anything has got to be better than this. Previously I had beem using lortab 5-no more than 2 daily along with soma--usually only once daily.
