I haven't been taking Yaz for too long but it has so far been effective. The only side effect that I've experienced is a change in my sex drive but I guess that's inevitable. I am very satisfied with this medication.

Cyproterone

Actually I did not notice any particular change in my prostate condition. But I remember that since I started with Cyproterone, edema started developing, on my feet especially. But since the cancer didn't get worse, I assume the medication worked effectively.

I told my daughter not to take the shots, it was too new and was unfortable with it and recommended she not have it. When she went for physical the doctor recommened she have it. She said she didn't want it, but it felt like it was being forced a bit, so she took it. She didn't feel well for a couple of weeks afterwards. Doxazosin Mesylate

For blood pressure-hared to urinate bladder pressure needed catheter to urinate. VERY BAD memory loss, could not think clear of find words to remember places and putting thoughts into words,sweating& hot flashes swollen feet,legs and ankles,blurred vision...may lower BP but not worth the side effects for me I stopped this medication and after 6 weeks effects are less but some still there,still very blurred vision,memory is better, urine has cleared,able to urinate regualr now.

Amitriptyline

amitriptyline was added to my other medications because I was grinding my teeth at night and not getting rested sleep. This medication had to be increased after taking 50 mg/day for several years and is now back to working pretty well.
