When I first went on Yaz, I experienced extreme mood swings like I do every single time I switch birth controls. However with Yaz, these mood swings seemed worse and seemed to last longer than after other birth control switches. I stayed on Yaz until all the commercials about side effects began playing and I switched again after that.

It's great for dealing with congestion/hay fever, but I stopped taking Drixoral after a short period of time because for me the dry mouth and thirst outweighed the benefits. I found myself drinking much more than usual because of my dry mouth, and consequently having to visit the bathroom much more frequently than usual. The first two months of taking this product worked really well for me and then the 3rd month is when things went downhill...i had breakthrough bleeding and was bleeding almost the whole month, my face broke out in acne, i had severe breast tenderness and strong cramps in the area of my ovaries...i stopped taking this birth control and im now on a new one.

I think Claritin-D 24-hour helped most of my symptoms but not all. It definitely alleviated my sinus symptoms, but it neither helped my dry, itchy eyes nor my sore, irritated throat. Throughout the years I have tried numerous allergy medications, and for OTC meds, Claritin- D 24-hour is the best that I have found.
