This is an effective product. I have so far not had any side-effects or problems. My thyroid level testing has always come back consistent - which gives me the assurance the medicine is working. I highly recommend this product (...and recommend ignoring the internet campaign to bash it and all the sythethic thryoid medicines).

After finding out I had Graves Disease and thyrotoxicosis in January 2010 I was put on carbimazole (think I had symptoms for nearly a year but always put them down to something else, maybe "change of life" etc) After only 6 days I had a severe allergic reaction to the carbimazole that nearly lost me my life! I started seasonique because of hormonal migraines. I dislike taking hormones, but so far it has been the only thing that has consistently kept me from having migraines once a month. I now only get them 1-2 times a year in relation to hormones. I would like to try some more natural alternatives, but this is what works for me right now. I also really enjoy only having my period 4 times a year- especially with the job I have!
