Alprazolam is the finest and most effective BZD for anxiety and panic on the market and also the ONLY benzodiazepine (of the triazolo- class) recommended for people with a history of depression. The problem in the USA is that there are hundreds of brands/generics, but only TWO which would be deemed acceptable quality by European patients - original branded XANAX and the GREENSTONE generics. Every single other make O have had which originated there has been complete garbage, almost as poor as... View full comment

Terrible drug. I always felt like I was going to faint. Made it almost impossible to drive a car or function at work. Fell quite a few times due to dizziness. I would not recommend this drug. I never had high blood pressure to begin with, not sure why the Dr insisted that I take this drug. It was 120/70 which I always thought was normal. This is the third drug for my MS that I have been on and I am generally very happy with it. I was on Avonex for a number of years and did not handle it well at all. My insurance would not allow me to go back on Copaxone, my original drug, which I liked very much and did well on. When the opportunity came for me to try Tysabri a few months ago I happily accepted and am not sorry at all that I did!

Although I take a prescription for acid reflux it doesn't work as well as the apple cider. It starts to work almost immediately.
