The Ultram caused slight dizziness in the beginning which stopped after taking it for a while. It caused really significant memory problems initially. Now, when taking the medication, I mix my words up sometimes; but I do not feel confused. I can pretty much function normally. But I would use this drug cautiously in the elderly! Was on Ortho tri Cyclen Lo before my pharmacy and insurance company switched me to this generic brand. I experienced a serious decrease in sex drive, which continues to this day. Besides that, the price is much better, and my menstraul cycles are scheduled to the day and time. I did not notice any significant weight gain or loss from this pill. It's worth trying, but if your libido changes as mine did, seek medical attention as soon as possible.

I've used other over the counter stuff such as abreva, blistex, among other stuff, but nothing comes close to Herplex. As soon as I feel a burning sensation on my lip I take the Herplex and within 3-4 days is dry and gone..

Went on the pill for cramps specifically, but the WHOLE first month i had unbareable abdominal cramps nearly as bad as the actual menstrual cramps. As soon as this eased away with the second-third month pill pack, the side effects hit me phsychologically. I've become very moody and intolerant to EVERYTHING. My anxiety has gone through-the-roof and I plan to make an appointment as soon as i have a free day to make an appointment to change prescriptions.
