I used to take diovan and tenoretic - switched to tenoretic and benicar - I experienced extreme hair loss and gout. plus diovan was expensive. Decided to try benicar but seems worse. Lightheadedness, dry mouth, dry stool, gout. Don't know what else until I get results from my check-up. I just don't feel right. After a year on this drug i expeirenced severe hip , thigh .leg muscle pain .Slight numbness in both feet with a slight feeling of pins and needles. Unable to carry out any heavy work in early mornings. A feeling of muscle shrinkage which was felt in early mornings when getting out of bed. Also effecting sexual performance. I've had eczema since I was in the third grade and I had a flare that no lotion or ointment worked on. I was prescribed Prednisolone to treat my eczema and as soon as the next day, my flare began to improve. The downside is you can only use this treatment for a few days but after the week or so that you're on it, lotion and ointments can be used for minor flares.

Sublingual is a terrible idea for this medicine. It tasted terrible and made my tongue numb. 15 minutes after taking it I became completely drugged out (in a stupor) and had to be taken to bed immediately. Slept 12 hours straight in a deep sleep, but snored heavily and gasped for air all night long. That was my first and last time taking this medicine.
