My doctor had told me that my tyroid was under performing and that my other medications would not work as well with that so he prescribed me this medication. He told me that my tyroid levels are getting better so I am satisfied with that.

I have had the Mirena for well over 6 or 7 years (I'm on my second one). During this time, my acne has been difficult to control - especially on my back and chest. I have also been experiencing some problems with finding the right words and thinking straight, though I suppose this could be a sign of getting older. But I'm only 36, so I'm not that old! I was taking Darvocet as a substitute for Vicodin because I was having too much Delirium and Nausea with Vicodin. I have a high tolerance to pain killers and when I was taking Darvocet it had no noticeable effect on the pain. I eventually stopped taking the pills because the small amount of pain relief I received was not worth the nausea and delirium I was getting from the drug.

I have been taking the 40 mg for many years now and in the past 3 months I was told to take another 40 mg and to split it in half so that I am taking 60 mg. I did not like this as much because I would feel more comfortable taking a 60 mg pill, but since they do not make that I will see if this help my level get back in place.

Having been on Lymecycline for almost 10 years now I am only now seeing a connection with memory loss around words: I often remember only the first letter of the word I want (like having a stroke!), or remember it 24 hours later or else the wrong word comes out. I have been worried about greater memory loss the longer I am on these things and only found out by experimenting by coming off them for a week - boy did my conversations flow then - no stumbling over words!
