Even though my blood work comes back normal, I am still cold most of the time when others around me are not. I am told being cold is a side effect of hypothyroidism. So I don't know if that was supposed to improve while taking Levothyroxine or not.

I've been searching everywhere to see if anyone else has had the same violent physical reaction to Candex. I am happy I found this page with a couple of posters who have had identical side effects. A year ago, I was put on a regimen of vitamins, fish oil, probiotics, etc., and completely cleaned up my diet. It was recommended that I also introduce Candex, which I did. Anything to feel better! I did go to the emergency room for this 2 days ago. But I did not know it was for this med. I googled it last night and figured it out. I stopped immediatly. But this is only my second day being off it. I feel I can't be alone w my two month old and 2 year old. I was only on it for 5 days. Please tell me how long it takes to get back to a normal state of mind please?

Terrible! Try getting off this medication! It messes up your brain chemistry. I ended up in the psych ward after the terrible anxiety after trying to taper off. I did not alleviate any nerve pain that I had or still have. It's cousin Lyrica is just as dangerous! I would not suggest either of these meds. Antisiezure meds should be used for that purpose only.
