I switched from Tri-Sprintec to Reclipsen because I was having breakthrough bleeding and was annoyed with it and wow, I wish I wouldn't have switched. Reclipsen gave me the worst bloating of my life. My stomach was actually in pain - so bloated in the last week of pills that I would have trouble wearing my normal-sized pants. Doctor just kind of prescribed this medication for me after looking at some of my blood work. I am not always sure why I have to take it, hopefully the doctor will take me off it the next time I go in.

I can't take estrogen based pills, so this seemed like a good option. For the most part it's been ok, but I've gained about 10 lbs and haven't been able to make it budge! I work out religiously and eat only around 1200 calories a day, and the weight keeps creeping on! I stopped taking my pills for about a week, and 5 lbs have already melted away!

I'm not the biggest fan of taking any sort of pill. The ibuprofen served its purpose, period. I can not see myself taking ibuprofen for an extended period of time, or developing any sort of dependency from it.

I felt the Estring was the easiest way to resolve being the 1 in 3 who develop vaginal atrophy post-menopause. But over the course of time, my husband and I have found it necessary to remove it to have satisfying sex and I find it can slip out at unwanted times.
