When first diagnosed with hyperthyroidism, the extreme tiredness meant more hours spent in bed than out. tasks were set on a daily basis in order to get general household chore complete, washing dishes ect. On waking I could be awake for around 3 hours, then will need to go back to bed. With using carbimazole, I am able to stay awake for the whole day and complete multiple general house hold chores.

Since beginning Celexa, I have noticed a great improvement in anxiety levels and pre-menstrual agitation prior to menstruation. It seems that I have more patience overall feel more relaxed in tense situations. I noticed the changes within two weeks of taking the medication. I am very pleased to report no side effects except for a slight decrease in appetite. After initially trying prozac, with no effect, i immediately felt less anxiety on starting mirtazapine. It took a few months, with increasing dose, to notice an inmprovement with my mood. Worth persevering with.
