I have been using Depo-Provera for about 5 years, and the experience for me has had pros and cons. While growing up I had very painful periods, and one year when I went in for an annual checkup the doctor had discovered a cyst on my ovary. The nurse said that the cyst could have been contributing to the pain I was having. They said if I continued having periods regularly that the cyst could continue to grow. I do not feel satisfied with INH which is a drug that prevent tuberculosis. Since I do not really need to take it. I call my doctor to make sure if I should stop taking INH or not. He checked me and the nurse withdraw two tubes of blood to get tested and see if this drug is affecting my liver. I will see the doctor this Thursday again to get my results but the doctor already told me to stop taking INH to compare how I feel by not taking it.

I was given the Z pack for an upper respiratory infection. I took two tablets the first day and immediately started feeling better. This is now my third day on the Z pack and I am back to my normal self. This is a great antibiotic.

day 2, nausea,diahrrea, day3, nausea, day4, constipation and,symptoms eased somewhat, day 5,constpation, severe nausea, metallic taste, trouble eating due to nausea and lack of appetite.I am in day five and considering giving up the med and suffering the consequences. I wonder if this self inflicted torture is worth it.
