Have been on Carbimazole for just over six months.It was slowly reduced from 40mgs daily to 20mgs after two months. Then after five months found to be over medicated reduced to 10mgs. The symptoms i had whilst being over medicated were extreme exhaustion, dizziness and insomnia to mention a few.I also have severe hot flushes that come every two hour at night . I was quite distressed that I had to come off Celebrex. I experienced an ulcer and upper GI bleeding. Previously, I was taking Tylenol and Ibuprofen for arthritis but the Ibuprofen was hideous and I also experienced an ulcer. Celebrex was the last NSAID in the arsenal for treatment of my arthritis. My knees and back are far worse and I have limited mobility and a higher level of pain now.

I have never had any problem achieving orgasm in my entire life and I am now 63 (female, athletic, in shape). This drug, at only 10MG/day, has left me a basket case. I cannot achieve orgasm no matter what I do and it's like walking around with a constant physical need that can't be satisfied. I even have SEX DREAMS!! This is beyond awful. SINCE TAKING ENALAPRIL, I HAVE BEEN EXPERIENCING SWALLOWING PROBLEMS THAT FEEL LIKE MY THROAT GOES INTO A SPASM, HOLDING THE FOOD UNTIL THE SPASM GOES AWAY,. SOMETIMES, IT IS VERY PAINFUL, AND I CANNOT EVEN SWALLOW LIQUID.

Suddenly my blood pressure is extremely hi.... from 140 - 90 to 176-98+... For the first time in my life I have to take 20 mg of Enalapril twice a day to keep my blood pressure on check. Even so, the BP goes up to 150 - 95 after twelve hours of taking a pill.... I also have this jiterry feeling and can feel the pulse in the tip of my fingers..... As if in extreme alert or distress
