This is the only medication that helped me get rid of my flu, and I would highly recommend it to anybody. Concerning the side effects, I think it depends on the individual. For me, it didn't cause me that much trouble.

I started taking Seasonique on Nov. 15th. For about the first week or two I felt fine. I noticed that about 2 1/2 weeks later that I hade no moisture whatsoever in my vaginal area and I believe I have pretty much lost any interest in having sex at this point. I've ttried several pills over the past couple of years due the awful cramps I get before my period and none of them worked for me. These pills made me feel like I was crazy. I was moody and depressed and impatient. My mood could change from being happy to being sad or angry in an instant. My boyfriend broke up with me because I treated him so badly. After I changed pills we got back together and things are fine. I also got migraines right before I started my period and those stopped after I changed pills.

Ortho Tri-Cyclen has been a very successful birth control with nearly no negative side effects. The only complaint I have had was when I began the treatment I gained some weight from it, however, I know that is common when starting a birth control pill.
