See my mother's Alz experience above. She got into trouble with only 3/4 of a .5 mg tab a day. When I insisted Mom be sedated for invasive procedures at a hospital ER room, they figured they'd give her a full day's allowed dose at once, so that would be 1.5 mg. That put her in LaLa land allright. I was grateful they used it on this occasion. Overuse of this drug could have stopped her breathing. 22 mg in one day. Good grief. I have been on synthroid for a little over a year and it has done little to benefit me. My condition has worsened making my skin even more sensative as well as my eye site and countless other things. I do not recommend this to other patients- there are more side effects than beneficial effects of the drug.

Lipitor, and perhaps all fat-soluble statins, will go down as the next falidamide. This drug readily crosses the blood brain barrier and wreaks havoc on cognition/memory/mood. As an added bonus, it is now becoming apparent that Lipitor is especially effective at causing systemic mitochondria DNA mutations (See, e.g., UCSD Study - Dr. Golomb). I tried Seasonique once I started being sexuially active again. The first month I developed a yeast infection, which is normal for me when I begin a new BC,then after 4 weeks I began spotting and breakthrough bleeding and this lasted for 2mths, finally I spoke to my OBGYN(who is a wonderful and amazing doctor) and he suggested that I stop that pack and start a new one(which he provided). When I initially took Zyrtec, it was pretty good at reducing my hay fever. However, as my body got used to the drug, its effectiveness at reducing my symptoms had diminishing returns down to almost zero. That has, however, been my experience with all similar drugs, and Zyrtec took longer than others to reach that result.
