It's not until I complete this survey that I realise what an adverse affect carbimazole has had one me. It did lower my thyroid levels (and that seems to be all my doctor is interested in) but I feel worse for it. I also wonder whether other medication interracts with it. I also take lithium (which caused by hyperthyroidism) and although my doctor has said this wouldn't be a problem, I wonder if it is an issue. Final comment. I now have a really sore lower back. This medication has many adverse physical side effects for me. The worst being weight gain and irritability. My sleep pattern is also disturbed and I have very high prolactin levels.

When I first started Microgestin Fe I had irregular bleeding and started my period early and it lasted for almost 3 weeks. Then I went without having a period for about 10 months. While I didn't mind this it obviously wasn't good so I had to be put on medicine to restart my period and then switch birth controls

for the first couple of days it felt really harsh on my skin then i think i got used to it, my doctor had informed me not to be in the sunlight and this terrified me, as he mentioned this would make me feel itchy or burn if i stayed in the sun.
