Doxycycline helped me visibly reduce my acne with very little to no side effects. It is just an antibiotic, not an acne treatment, so it works best supplemented with other treatments like benzamycin and retin-a micro. Taking doxycycline did not cause much, if any, discomfort.

The doctor gave 14 days of Levaquin for sinus infection. After 3 my lowerback/hips, thighs, knees all hurt. Also every joint in my body hurts. I took 6 days of it and quit. It helped my sinus infection, but I can't hardly walk, especially if I have been sitting for a while. Also, I had a horrible taste while taking it.

It's interesting...It definitely makes me feel MUCH better. I initially caved into "drugs" after dealing with horrible panic attacks for two years. I tried to stay away from reading reviews because I knew I wouldn't take it then. I have to tell you, I have definitely gained weight, and whether it's from this drug or personal eating habits, I don't know. Since starting this using Carbimazole I have noticed a reduction in my heart racing and hands shaking but I have had constant throat infections from about 6 weeks including 2 chest infections, pleurisy, laryngitis and now tonsillitis and a swollen eye, all with a high temperature and headache. With the exception of a few day in between each episode when I have felt well. I think I will stop taking this product.

I've been on Pristiq since the end of March. The negatives..the nausea was a beast the first few weeks but not intolerable. I don't sleep as well at night but its not to the point of insommnia. The positive, I am much more even, not nearly as irritable, etc. Still have some anxiety but its also better. I have lost over 10 lbs. I have no desire for sweets (which I ate everyday) or alcohol (which I drank very little of anyway - maybe 1-2 drinks a month if that). My libido isn't there but it has... View full comment
