Well it worked to prevent pregnancy because there was no way I could've gotten pregnant when I couldn't even have sex since I basically had my period for a month! I used to take claritin for allergies but once zyrtec was placed over the counter I started using it. I have allergies to animals, pollen, and other outdoor things and Zyrtec works for all of them. It also works much quicker than claritin so I can take it on an as needed basis- although during the spring and fall I normal have to take it every day. I relieves itchy water eyes, sneezing, itchy nose and throat, and prevents congestion. Its worked great and I would recommend it for allergies!

I took them for a short period this past fall. They weren't particularly effective. Not really any different from taking tylenol as far as aches went. The nasal congestion relief was minimal at best.
