I am 36 year old female and was diagnosed hyperthyroidism 10 months after having a baby. I was prescribed 30 mg carbimazole a day and after 3 weeks of taking it I came out in rash and hives all over my torso, neck, legs and it got even on my face. Positives: Works fast, not a pain killer... so there are no groggy side effects. Used for several years without any problems. Negatives: Quite expensive even with insurance. No generic equivalent available.

Percocet makes me very ichy, nausea, vomiting, weightloss but it takies the pain away enough so that i can sit, stand and use my crutches with out pain, but with out them i have sleepless nights, hot and cold sweats and pain beyond anything i could have imagined.
