I'm 33 this year and have been using Mirena for 4 years 8 months after having my 2nd child. The insertion was a bit painful and I felt cramps after that, but it didn't last long and was bearable. This is a great drug that actually helps you focus,listen,pay attention, and actually calms hyperactivity. BUT it also makes me feel depressed and feel as if I am not myself by holding the real me back with pills. I try to enjoy myself with friends after taking this medicine but to no avail because I am so calm and always sad.
