My aunt (in her late 50s) took Zyrtec for a short time 3 yrs ago. She said it worked well but she lost her sense of taste - nothing for 3 yrs. I guess there's no way to fix this - has anyone heard of a way to fix this?

I went to my primary care physician today because I've been experiencing extreme fatigue and headaches for some months now. Had a bout of Epstein Barr last summer so assumed I was still fighting the infection or possibly something else was amiss with my health. i just wish that in the future that they would have more treatments for type 1 diabetics, because it is not fair that more treatments and funding are for type 2 diabetics. i know more people have this form of diabetes but people who suffere from type 1 or the other types of diabetes do not have lots of medicine and that treatments that exist for them.
