Cymbalta was the -worst- experience I've ever had with mental health medicine. I've suffered from depression for 12 years and tried many medications but Cymbalta, by far, has the -worst- side effects to any drug I've ever tried. Granted the pharmacy made a mistake, but the mistake was in my favor! They gave me half the dosage they were supposed to (which was 30mg of Cymbalta) which was the appropriate dosage. I thought it was the heat dehydrating me, humid weather causing arthritis flare-ups, menopause symptoms coming back, all at once. And maybe even something wrong with my thyroid medicine (a bad batch or needing a dosage increase) But symptom got worse when we went away from the heat on vacation.Towards end of our vacation my husband insisted I stop taking it and I immediately began to feel better. Before I started, my cramps were unbearable, I missed school because of it. I went to the doctor about it and they told me about this pill and I began taking it. I have no more cramps and it's really nice not having to worry about your period. It comes every three months and you control when your period happens.
