I started out with 4 tabs a day but that was way too much. Doctor's PA told me to take 2 a day which was an improvement but side effects, although lessened, continued. I experienced restlessness, tongue sucking, mouth pursing, jaw clenching, rash on face, throat tightness with muscle spasm. I learned that these side effects over time can be life long. I noticed some initial weight loss, but have not seen the promised (or out of the ordinary) weight loss. Slight increased energy levels, but nothing great. Don't yet think that I would recommend it for anything but antioxidants.

This is the only medication that helped me get rid of my flu, and I would highly recommend it to anybody. Concerning the side effects, I think it depends on the individual. For me, it didn't cause me that much trouble.

I' pretty sure it is the levoxyl that is causing the trembling because I switched to a lower dose and it has gotten much better. The only problem is that I'm out of energy and feel cold almost all the time. I feel very hypo on the lower dose . I think I want to give Armour a go because I know I don't have to feel this way and I'm tired of it.
