Provigil is an effective medicine in fighting the drowsiness associated with narcolopsy. However, it is incredibly expensive. (close to 450$ per month before insurance and still 90$ after insurance every month!)

I love effexor and what it did for me. I don't like having to deal with hives and looking like I've been mugged. My face swells and the hives make me scratch holes in my skin. I've missed work because of frequent hospital trips. I would take effexor again, but I would really rather do without that particular side effect.

It works well for me. Makes me feel better. My levels were very low and now they are stable. Since I’ve always had problems with my bones it was urgent that I took something that would help me increase my levels. The only thing I don’t like is that it tastes horrible and I have to take it iced tea or orange juice.

I am 29 years old, and had been taking Lexapro for about 4-5 years. It worked really well for my depression/anxiety. I thought I would be on it for life. But the sexual side effects took their toll. I lost 95% of my ability to get aroused. I failed to get excited with 4 different girls and left them thinking my little guy was a dud. It helps some, but not a lot. I still have horrible reactions when I am around my worst allergens (ie: dogs, cats) even when I have taken Claritin 24 Hour that morning. For general seasonal allergies it does help keep them at bay enough that I can function. It can also help to dispel some of my headaches, if they are allergy and/or congestion-based.
